Green Thumb Friday

Transformation of a a Garden

I am getting ready for fall , feeding my roses and shrubs with organic feed and piling mulch to make a nice & comfy blanket for my plants during the winter months.

In autumn, I always get this eery feeling as the trees in the park already show some bald spots, getting ready to lose their leaves and stay naked and bare, garden preparing for falllike old bony creatures. The flowers are drying out. The once luscious petals shrivel. The stems twist this way and that way as if they are trying to hunt the sun. The wind blows weeee, causing my flowers to lose bits and pieces and look like grotesque beings.
