A wonderful picture book by Ann Kovsky

One thing that I love doing on my blog is reviewing wonderful new books.

I just had a chance to read, Creation Colors by Ann D. Koffsky .

This book tells the story of the creation in a very creative and original way where each day of the creation is introduced by different colors.

The language is poetic and inspiring, yet simple enough for young children to understand. The illustrations, created in a paper-cut technique are beautiful and almost feel like lace. The colors burst out of the pages. I would have liked to frame each spread and hang it on my wall!

This is a wonderful addition to any library, school or home because the story is universal and will resonate with children of every faith.

The author also conveys the message that people are all equally created by God “in every shade and hue.”

I highly welcome and recommend this book!
